First & foremost I want to apologize for my absence these last couple days. Sometimes I go missing here and there for school or overwhelming obligations in business life, but this time was a little different. Thursday, February 4th 2010 the world lost a soldier. My brother & now guardian angel Jonathan “Shoota Mac” Johnson was slain in the streets of southwest Houston, Texas. Out of respect for his memory, I took a figurative moment of silence from posting to gather my bearings, to do nothing other than reflect the times we shared together, & be available to those closest to him. Those of us lucky enough to have shared his life know, My Brother was one of the most lively, comical and talented people ever to walk these streets of earth. The world was robbed of his presence after a short 22 years. He was a different kind of angel, not your typical white robbed goodie-two-shoes, but an angel none-the-less. Not many people knew the Real Jonathan Johnson, & yet still, even with just an acquaintanceship, the effect he had on people’s lives has been made painstakingly apparent through the sorrow & contrition expressed sense his passing. My brother was a unwavering solider, a loving father, a devoted friend and one of the most ridiculously talented free hand artist I’ve ever witnessed. The magnitude of his success, had he been given the chance, is without questionable. His passing is an unmitigated tragedy & It’s been with a heavy heart that we’ve sense then been forced to except that he will no longer be with us on our journey though this life. I ask that you keep his family & loved ones in your prayers, & that we remember the good times we shared with him in our forefront. Its easy to be angry at times like this, & I plan to take my own advice when I say that we should be strong for JonJon like he would so brashly tell us to do, & That we keep up heads high with smiles on out faces for the idea that we were blessed enough to know someone so awe-inspiring. With that being said, business will resume is his honor, Rest in Paradise JJ, I Love You, as long as Im Living, Your living through Memories.
Sincerely, O.
