I wouldn't call myself a writer, just a girl who can’t sleep. won't sell 'em no dream, but the inspiration is free.

So, i’ve been M.I.A and sporadic with the posting, i apologize to those who’ve checked for me. IN SHORT- I’m in my Final Quarter at FIDM, the programs offered are designed to gradually move students though their major, following a designed course load, taking classes that are prerequisites for the quarter to follow, and so forth. I think it goes without saying, in a program designed this way - come the last quarter, students are loaded with the most challenging classes we have yet faced. This quarter has unquestionably been the most arduous block of courses i have faced in my educational career. Coupled with a fair amount of misfortune, [losing my USB with all my work, several times in a short span of weeks] I’ve been completely s w a m p e d trying to maintain my GPA. Living in the library, spending weekends and downtime in on-campus labs, juggling the overload of material that need be covered and producing quality products worthy of bearing my name. Papers, projects, presentations - endless research, & preparation for the omnipotent grade ruling mid-terms/finals. As corny as it maybe, and as much as i’ve heard successful friends tell me that the GPA doesn’t even matter as much as raise it on high, I’ve never been one for mediocrity, in any form of my life - Especially one in which i’m evaluated on a number scale. That being said, i take this shit very seriously, i’ll be damned if i allowed my parents money be squandered on B’s & C’s - being fortunate and financially privileged enough to not have to work my way though school is a blessing i’d be ashamed to misspend. - Hence my sparseness in post & social scene/network sabbatical during these past couple weeks.
This quarter I’ve been juggling 8 courses.
