Witty, Beautiful, Heart Warming, but above all Inspiring. The Documentary on the Designers life Opened yesterday in Los Angeles and was a gem. “Apres moi, le deluge” was translated in the movie as “after me, the flood.” which works as well but the phrase, was coined by Louis XV, translates roughly to, “After me, the downfall.” i thought that was more suitable for the context me implied it in. needless to say it spoke to me, a new M.O if you will..
As any young person in college with i consider my choice in major with question sporadically, but then i see something like this and i rekindles & and excites me about the fashion world. The elegance & extravagance in which he lives, the engrossing projects ending with praise and admiration for you art by the masses, the glamourous fashion shows, models & beautiful fabrics,.. its engulfing.. a great watch for anyone with 96 mins to spare.
