THIS AINT ME TALKIN, ITS THE DEMONIC INTELLECT THAT TAKES OVER WHEN IM SLEEP WALKIN
I wouldn't call myself a writer, just a girl who can’t sleep. won't sell 'em no dream, but the inspiration is free.

Rei Kawakubo (川久保玲), founder and head designer of the Japanese label, Comme des Garçons, & a pioneer in today’s young fashion hierarchy, will be the guest designer for H&M’s upcoming collection for fall 2008. The Japanese fashion house is currently in the works with H&M for a F/W collection arriving November ‘08. Its set to launch in early November at the opening of H&M’s second store in Tokyo, followed by the other H&M stores. said to turn out mens and womenswear, children, accessories, and a signature fragrance, its a line im looking forward to checking out. & im finally living in a city with access to H&M, [Sorry Houston, this one aint for you]

Yves & I jus recently paid a visit to the LA location Downtown like 4 blocks from my apartment. I left like i was part of a secret society walkin in that joint, its hinding in a back alley behind an iron gate, u WOULD-NOT know it was there unless u mapped it on imaps, and THEN Called to get directions from across the street… its called the Guerilla store and for good reason, its a tiny bunker in the tench of the concrete jungle, out of site of the enemy bka the trendy shopper.. haahaa, sry that was a little “Extra” … its a tight lil place though, all the displaces were hand made from shopping carts stacked ontop of each-other. it had a very artsy feel to it, and besides the sales associate, Yves and I were the Only people in there. I like that :] …
H&M has done projects with high end designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf and, most recently, Roberto Cavalli. All have proved instant sell-out successes. But i also know people wait to be told how to dress, and those names yell “BUY ME!” to those without a sense of personal style. On that note i have to mention that the collections all turned out sub-par at best. On the flip-side however, those who are unfamiliar with Comme des Garçon are in for a treat. Comme des Garçons has been known for challenging the norms with use of distressed fabrics, innovative, avant-garde aesthetic, unfinished edges, asymmetrical cuts, and monochromatic tones. as well as maintaining prices that are out of reach for many of us, i.e [on the pic of Yves as an amputee, there are some t-shirts on hangers to the left, THOSE lil ugly things are $200+ for girls, they also have some beautiful jewelry but the price range is like a good $800+, so on and so forth] i have no doubt this collab will turn out some good product at a price that doesnt make u wanna eat glass…
“This crossover will help H&M break into the Japanese/Harajuku market to compete with the dominating Uniqlo, as both are known for their fashionable yet affordable clothing. It will definitely be interesting to see how it turns out. Comme des Garçons design at H&M prices!” - tommytseblog.com
