okay, so ive been a fan of the X-ian Loubies sense the first time we met back in 2004. Taking a celebratory stroll through Manhattan down madison Ave glad to be back in NY, i decided to step inside and take a aimless look around the Christian Louboutin store. Unprepaired for what i was about to witness my eyes locked on the unmarred patent leather shinning under the satirically placed lights.. Scared to pick it up i hesitated before lifting it ever so gently.. Dramatic u may think.. but this was no shoe i was cupping.. it was a piece of art.. i rotated to examine it and BBBBBBBAMMM!! the red bottom smacked me in the forehead, it was over for me at that point.. “They will be mine, OH YES, they Will be mine”.. dressed in my Bo Jacksons and matching new era i called the lady over for help… [she must have rolled her eyes soo hard] i asked her for the price of the shoe in my hand and she took them out and set them back on the display “$960” she said.. my heart cracked in half ad sank into my stomach.. she was right to roll her eyes, this little 17 year old have never sent more then $250 on a pair of shoes.. $1000?!!! i was not prepared to spend that… so buried my face in my sidekick 1 as to not make eye contact with any more shoes on my way Out of the store. of course it didnt stop there, my intrigue only grew. i searched them online and drooled over them regularly, id stop into Saks and Neimens to see what he’d released seasonally. Pointed them out in every red carpet apperance, movie cameo, ediorial advent, and ramdom taboild star sighting. almost a full 3-years later i finally commited & copped my first pair.. jay couldn’t have summed up my personal experience better.. i DID have to have them & i yer G.D. right im Glad i gottem..
